General Bayel and The Hunger strangely enough. The combo of the two I found just extremely annoying to try and kill.

A lot of people are listing non-boss monsters.

The Leviathan.

That's because you're doing it wrong.

You aggro Bayel first and take him out. Then attack the Hunger.

Aggroing both is just asking for a hard time.

Otherwise the two hardest foes are the Base Defenders in AB or the Mursaat/Jades. I say Mursaat/Jades because if you think about Spectral Agony in terms of power over anything else, they can deal 600 damage to almost anything in 5 seconds and slow a person by, what 80%? 100 damage a second, 30 degen (Of which only 10 will affect you, causing 20 health loss a second), and a speed decrease. Mursaat wreck.

Soo... Leviathan, Mursaat, and Base Defenders.
In reality though, the leviathan may be able to do tons of dmg, but he one shots, it is not AoE like a wurm siege like this post would make you think. If your team of 8 - 12 people is willing to stand there wile the leviathan is hitting each one and killing it ONE AT A TIME, then your team deserves a party wipe. Leviathan may be one of the strongest bosses in GW but definatly not the hardest.

I know that, I just wanted to try the two of them together like they were meant to be.

Certainly not, since it's one of the most easily avoidable skills in the game.

Since we're in the thread, my opinion has changed. dopplerganger on hardmode when you bring a build that isn't designed to combat him.

^_^ Pain Inverter won't even show on him (8*80 = 640 dmg, which is less than 10% of his health), and one hit = party wipe.

As for general bosses, monk ones are a pain. Also, Rt ones can be hard to kill as well.

Rotscale goes down pretty quick, actually, especially against an 8-man team.
I nearly killed the Leviathan once. My party had killed off Kannaxai and we were backtracking to grab drops. Then myself (warrior) and another warrior decided to try killing it. We had 2 monks. We managed to get it to less than half health before we gave up. I even have a screen shot of this.

See, not that hard.
